Clare Wigfall has worked as a professional English-language voice artist since 2005, alongside her career as a writer and university professor. Born in London, she has also lived in Berkeley, Prague, Granada, Edinburgh and now Berlin. She has a light, clear, flexible voice which warms the ear. Her native accent is British English, but she is comfortable with various accents including American, Scottish, Irish, French, and Eastern European. Her voice can also sound young enough to record child parts. Clare has a wide range of experience and has voiced adverts, radioplays, corporate videos, audioguides, art projects, language programmes, movie dubbing, video games, literary pieces, and has recorded for radio including BBC and NPR. She has also worked on various live projects and regularly reads her own work before an audience. She has three young daughters who are following in her footsteps and have already worked professionally as voice artists.
